Great little hidden and peaceful gem! Walked the trails. Nice and quiet, not many bugs yet.

Nice hidden gem to pier fish. Just be aware that it’s about a half-mile walk from the parking lot to the pier…so you have to carry all your gear from your car to the pier and back. There are no seats or tables on the pier, so you might want to consider bringing chairs. And if you’re lucky, you may see a beaver or two.

Beavers are active! Easily saw 7 trees they have been chewing on and saw 1 beaver swimming. Typically I only see birds while hiking here but saw his guy and was hoping that I’d see more. I didn’t! But, I’ll be back to hike again.

This was the property that I grew up on. I haven’t been back to see it in almost 30 years but it is amazing to see how it has been turned into a nice, clean park that everyone gets to enjoy. I have such amazing childhood memories from this land and it makes me happy to know that other children will be able to experience the land as I did.

Peaceful, beautiful park! Great park to watch birds, take a hike and immerse yourself in nature. Portions of the trail can be wet or underwater after rains.
