LeLand Park is a hidden gem in Lansing, Michigan, known for its friendly neighborhood atmosphere and well-kept playground amenities. It’s a great spot for families, dog owners, and anyone seeking a quiet, shaded space to relax. Play equipment like slides, swings, and bouncy ‘horses’ keep kids entertained, while pet owners love that dogs are allowed at this park. The whole area is fenced, making it safer for both small children and pups to roam, and it’s rarely crowded, offering a relaxing vibe far from the busy city parks.
With lots of mature trees offering shade and several picnic tables for gatherings, LeLand Park is ideal for an old-fashioned picnic or just some playtime with your four-legged companion. The park is conveniently located but typically features street parking only. Delta Township keeps the park clean and well-maintained, making this a top choice for Lansing dog park seekers and local families alike.
Nice little neighborhood park. Visible enough to let your little ones run around and be able to keep an eye on them.

I rarely see anyone here, probably because its street parking only. It’s got all the essentials: swings, slides, those bouncy ‘horses’, and picnic tables. There’s lots of shade from some older trees and the road noise isn’t too bad on a Saturday morning. Highly recommend for an old fashioned picnic in the park with your pre-teen kids. Bring charcoal and hot dogs!
This is a cute little park, right around the corner from our house. I always drive past here and usually never see anyone there. It’s been frequented quite a few times in the past! Before COVID hit, there were balls that were left there for the kids to use. That was really nice to see! Let’s make that happen again! I might put some in the ball holders next spring!
It’s so lovely to see kids playing outside and not on their phones and tablets!
