My dogs love here! If I say “you want to go to Taps and Tails” they start jumping around and get super excited! We always have a great time and really enjoy it when they have themed parties! It’s our happy place!

I cannot say enough great things about this place!! It’s such a fun bar with so much space for your dogs to run around, but also within control. They have “bark rangers” to keep an eye on things so you can relax without worrying. You have to register your dog ahead of time so you know all the dogs there have the right vaccinations etc. the staff is SO fun and friendly and have honestly made friend with them from seeing them so frequently. I take my dog there for daycare about once a week and outside of daycare hours it’s our number one spot for our friend group with our dogs. Drinks are always fun and affordable and they are always having themed events. They recently started a food menu too. Can’t recommend taps and tails enough!!

Our first visit to Taps and Tails was Bikini Beach Bottom themed. All the staff was so friendly. They announced our dog a first timer so that the bark rangers could keep a close eye on her (small dog) and frequently checked in on how she was doing. The bar tender so our confused faces at the entry and walked us thru getting checked in and were very polite at all our interactions. Thanks for a great visit!

The pup loved it! While he played indoors and outdoors, we enjoyed a beer or two. Would love to see a bit more in the way of food, but still a great experience.

A truly unique place! We drove from 2 hours from Erie to visit. So much nicer than expected. It would be a dream to open one of these and manage! Absolutely clutch, such a joy and treat. I love the turf, the wooden wagon wheels and barrels, rustic vibe. Stayed from about 5-close on a Wednesday. Not too crowded. Real laid back. So much entertainment watching the dogs. Ample selection of beers, bartender was cool and friendly, the manager said hello to us. Bartender even gave us a complimentary bandana for visiting which my gf was much appreciative of! This place is so wonderful for the sense of community it creates and improving the quality of life. I met several cool locals who are regulars. Amazing place for all ages but especially millennials like myself. Absolutely great layout. Only recommendations is to provide a water pitcher for refilling our own waters so we don’t have to bother bartender, and biggest improvement would be to have at least two bartenders on. I feel like it’s a lot on one person; as a line can form quickly. And he’s also dropping food in deep fryers etc. only drawback is I feel food is overpriced for the portion. It’s fine it’s only finger foods, but $9 for 10 mini corn dogs, the amount of pretzels you get, and also chicken tenders and tots seems pricey for the quantity. Could either drop the price a dollar or two or give more. Lastly, could add zucchini sticks or maybe chips and dip/nachos. But for sure we will make the trek back. Also, could add more chairs outside as I can see they get filled quickly and would be standing room. Love the business!! We need more of these! No dog fights when I was there. Just doggy wrestling. And the bark rangers do a good job with spraying with water if a few get too rowdy.
