Fantastic park for everyone! Lots of paved and unpaved trails for hiking or birdwatching. They feature a small playground at entrance and a ice cream/pizza shop with a putt putt golf course. The scenery along the trails is very beautiful and full of all different kinds of wildlife. We love this park for our kids on our nature walks because we know will find some really neat stuff!
We attended Lakeview’s evening with Santa & Mrs Claus on Sunday 12/8, and it was put together so thoughtfully. Beautiful sunset, lots of families and kids doing fun activities waiting for Santa, and free pics.
Earlier that day we hiked cascade. I regularly attend Wellington’s book club (Carolyn is a total gem of a human), and appreciate all the metro parks. We are so lucky to have such a great park system & care that goes into the community!
