Review of Renegades Trail Disc Golf course, thats in the Burfield Park grounds.
Amazing disc golf course, one of the best in the state. Very challenging, technical course with alot of long 500′ to 1000′, par 4s and par fives. With a few, short shoter technical shots sprinkled in. Also has a decent amount of elevation change with almost no water to speak of. A really challenging and enjoyable course. With 4 players it takes about 4 hours to play all 18.
One of my favorite trails to frequent in the area, Burchfield park has a disc golf course, kayaks and swan boats for rent (on the Grand River), a small beach, BMX park, and trails for hiking and mountain biking (as well as skiing in the winter).
A hidden gem in the heart of Michigan. I wasn’t expecting such a beautiful and well preserved park so close to Lansing. The attendant at the entrance was so friendly. The trails are very accessible and make for an easy or moderate hike depending on the trail you select. We went all the way to the third park and even saw the farmstead. Their bike trails look so amazing I almost wished I had brought my bike when I was visiting. The restrooms and other buildings are kept very clean. I highly suggest this places if you are looking for a more moderate hike.
I absolutely love this place. It’s great to just take a walk in the woods or have a picnic/outing with the family and other loved ones. My long time boyfriend and I really enjoy exploring the plant life in the area. Sometimes people will leave a walking stick in front of the trails which is fun. I genuinely love this park.
Went here to disc golf got a disc wedged in a tree very nice park and good course
