A nice place to relax and enjoy the cute beach at Lake Saint Helen. The free “library” of sand toys is a nice touch. I’d like to see a few more picnic tables, nicer bathroom facilities – and there’s room for a pickleball court. It would be cool to play with the lake right there… I know it all costs money, but would be a unique addition – and get more people coming out to the town.

The water is beautiful and there are so many different parts to it. We went boating and were able to find somewhere to swim. We also took jet skis out and had a blast. There is also a great beach that has a spot for toys for the kids that everyone can use. It also had a great park there.

Great fishing, lots of 15-20 inch pike. Tips:
1: be quiet pike get scared easily
2: drag bait along bottom.
3: wait for bite, then patiently set the hook
4 be sure not to touch mouth of pike, teeth are dangerous.
5 if planning on releasing, release them as soon as possible.
6: don’t touch their body too much, as this hurts their outer slime layer.
Have fun and good luck!

My grandparents and dad use to take me here when younger. Now I get to enjoy it with my sweet children. Taught my step son how to swim and not be scared of water here. It’s a special place for us.

Love this beach! They have a free sand toy library so there are always plenty of toys for my kiddo without hauling sandy buckets back and forth. Also a cute playground and pavilions to enjoy
