Wonderful park nestled up against the interstate. Separate dog parks for small and large dogs. Usually the big dog side is larger but these two sections are both nice sized to play. The playground is pretty nice and roomy, spots to unload your boat and a picnic area. Great little spot.
This park was the perfect stop for our family as we drove from northern Michigan back home to Chicago! There was a fenced dog park, plentiful play equipment on wood chips (no sand!), a covered picnic pavilion, and well-maintained port-a-potties. Both my toddler and preschooler enjoyed the playground while I sat at a picnic table to nurse the baby and my husband let our pup roam the dog park. Great spot for everyone to stretch their legs and burn some energy just off the highway.
Wonderful playground next to the ball field and pickleball courts. Fun, new equipment. Slides, swings, climbing fun. While it isn’t fenced, it sits off the road a little ways, which is nice.
Beautiful views and beach, not too busy and the long walk is worth it. Warning no bath houses, but their are portapotties in the parking lot and one out house along the trail to the beach. Many people set up hammocks at the top of the dune overlooking the lake in the shade. Path is not wagon or stroller friendly.
Very nice park. Beautiful cemetery plots. Well kept. Clean and pretty views.
