Started in galesburg and ran towards Kzoo. Very pretty area through woods and a park until you get to Michigan Ave.

Started at Mile Marker 21 in Galesburg at the intersection of 35th & Battle Creek Ave. But my recommendation is to start at the Galesburg County Park that has plenty of parking, public toilets, picnic shelter, playground. You can follow the paved path west along Battle Creek Ave and continue west to K’zoo. At mike marker 20.5 you ride thru a county park; you’ll need to pay a NULL day pass if you want to enter the park on bike. We’re really looking forward to the day when the KRV trail connects with the Battle Creek Linear Path. But for now, if you ride East from Galesburg County Park you will abruptly come to the trail end in about 1.5 miles and you can catch Hwy 96 by following the the road that the trail ends at. Hwy 96 is better now that it’s been repaved but the berm is too narrow for my husband & I.

Park is good for biking and walking, could not locate parking so parked on the side of the road. Park is convenient for people living in the neighborhood where they can access it.

This is such a peaceful trail to walk, or bike ride. There is a lot of wild life to see. I usually see a lot of rabbits and deer right by the trail. There are no benches to sit and rest, so make sure you want to be up and going!! I started at Galesburg, so you can walk all the way thru the park, and into Comstock if you are really into a long walk or bike ride.
