love it here! absolutely beautiful
I saw one bench, but the walking trails are amazing and easy enough for a person who hates trails. There are downed trees along the trails but there’s nothing prohibiting the casual hiker.
Hidden gem indeed. Nice short little hike with some good scenery and plenty of nature. Just a shame there’s so much trash, even in the woods.
This is a small hidden gem! I drove by and noticed the sign the other day so decided to go explore. Glad that i did! There is only 1 path, but its fairly long, about a mile total. Its a rambling, meandering path the offers some great river views. Its a very curvy, fun trek. I will have to return in full summer bloom to get the full experience, but even in this super early spring you can tell theres a lot of natural charm nd beauty here. Hope you all check it out amd enjoy as i did. 😁🤘🏻
It’s such a hidden gem that it’s likely you’d miss the entrance if you weren’t actively searching for it. There’s a single trail that twists and winds it’s way to a tiny clearing next to the water. There’s a little handmade bench so you can sit and relax to enjoy the view. It was already full of life in late April, we can’t wait to return during other seasons to really see the little park’s full potential.
The park itself is great. Such a shame though that someone had left a trash pile of beer cans in the parking lot.
