Me and the fam came to Railroad Park during the Burr Oak Heritage Festival. Railroad Park is where most of the festivities were happening, and people came from miles around the partake in the fun, the games, the competitions, and the vendors! They had a lady with a very lovely voice playing at the Gazebo, an Elvis Presley look-alike competition, a porta potty tractor pull, and Mennonite people everywhere! We tried some Mennonite old-fashioned ice cream which was divine, some old-fashioned pretzels, and we even saw the Mennonites playing volleyball in a mud pit – which was quite the sight to see! They also offered various County Fair rides and games and even a chainsaw wood carver. The Heritage Festival offered so much for being such a small town, overwhelming at times, but our time at Railroad Park was simply amazing!
The other dogs 🐕 are usually very social. I’ve never had a problem there. We love to go to the dog park. I’m glad that they have one for our dogs!
