I love that they’ve put a new rubber floor in the splash pad area. It’s so much better than the old painted cement that the kids were all getting hurt on before.
Love this park. Perfect for ages 2 thru 12.
Lots of things that children can do. Picnic pavilion that is available to rent for groups.
It isn’t much commotion at this park. At some parks adults have made them into their hangouts and trash them, which is absolutely terrible. This park however I’ve found to be one of the most peaceful, and calm ones in Redford. I feel safe walking around and being with my little one when we’re there.
Went to watch my son’s baseball game. Had my two young daughters with me. We couldn’t enjoy the game because people were smoking weed in their car in the parking lot. I understand it’s legal. I also understand that my children, and the other children who were there, have rights too. And their rights were completely ignored. I also understand that the individuals who were driving high, could have killed someone on the road because of their poor choices. Redford police were called twice and nothing was done. All of us there got a second hand bus because of Redfords inability to keep their city and its visitors and residents safe. Dirty park. Drug use. Little kids forced to do drugs and an ineffective police department. Stay far away. You’re doing yourself a favor.
