Candy Cane Park is a spacious park.  It’s a little hard to get to.  There is parking at the front of the park along the street but there is also a sign when you enter the area stating that ‘neighborhood parking credentials’ or some foolishness like that is displayed.  Not quite the welcome you are looking for when seeking out a place for the kids to play.

There is another entry at the top of the park where parking is more friendly.  That’s the entrance closest to the play structure so we went there anyway.  There are two rolling hills in the park so plenty of room to run and play.  They have a very nice baseball field and open areas where you could sit and relax with the family and friends.

The play structure is simple, functional and put together well.  There is a bridge, a couple of slides and swings down one side of a hill.  All in all it is a very pleasant neighborhood park.  There are no lights, though, so I wouldn’t spend too much time in there at night.

Great little park. The play structure is fairly new, from 2020. They really need to do something with the dilapidated covered pavilion. They should remove the enclosed and just make it completely open, it’s too small as is.

The playset here is perfect for smaller and medium size kids. The steps and ramps are very easy to maneuver. We always encounter nice families to talk with when we visit. It’s a nice hidden gem!

I love this park for my kids, they really enjoyed it but the old tennis court next to the playground needs to go or fixed up. The colors on the playground equipment is just too cool. The negative thing is the parking; there should be a better place than the street to park, like making a parking lot.

Awesome park with a beautiful neighborhood baseball field, and great playground. There is no parking, so you have to park on the street and walk over. There is park grills and a small pavilion. One porta potty toilet noticed. Also the tennis courts need maintenance.
