Truly love this park. I have hiked every path even the mountain bike paths. Its beautiful there. I really enjoy how quiet it is there. Can get super swampy and I have seen a few ticks so please make sure you spray but all in all one of my favorite places to go!

Excellent trail system for hiking and equine trails! The nature trails are beautiful. The playground and restrooms are great and state of the art.

Dog friendly and excellent place for disc golf!

It’s a park where the river appears to have carved itself into a valley, with a flat ledge running parallel to the river that dips 40 feet to the rivers edge and banks along a glacial moraine, with pines towering +100 feet, and nice lookout points along the ledge. A nice set of walking trails to choose. Horseback riding trails and nice meadows. Excellent public restrooms and snack machine. Decent signage. Awesome log-cabin style pavilion with wooden picnic tables. Romantic scenery. Well-maintained.

Great place for photographers to capture portraits of all kinds. They have a variety of spaces to get a bit of everything! We recently did a senior session here. Best of all it’s a large park and also low key. Certainly worth the journey if you need to find a park out of the suburbs.
