Great going away picnic, had a ball! Clean and safe park with a very nice play scape for kids.
We had a great time celebrating our 15 year class reunion. The grills were nice and the kids loved being close to the park. We rented a bounce house, which fit well and was easy to arrange. Navigation is a bit difficult so bring a few signs for your guests to know they’re on the right path. Thanks Southfield!
This was a very nice shed. It was clean. It housed about 14 picnic tables. There were grills at both ends of the shed and about 8 large garbage cans surrounding it. It was near a children’s play scape and a nature trail. The surrounding area was nice, quiet and serene.
I’m so happy the pool is open. I used to go there as a kid in the late 80s early 90s. So much fun and great memories.
This is a hidden park behind the civic center. I like the nature walk and the trees during the fall. The play area for the kids definitely needs some upgrades. They have cool slides, I even made a time lapse video of me going down in one of them, way too fast for me 😆! Overall, it’s a good park. Me and my family had fun.
The trucks from the city takes up a lot of the parking space, as some other review mentioned, but I have been here a couple times and it’s never busy at the park so I found parking easily. The police officers also hung out here. It made me feel safer.
Update:
There’s a new structure built here now. Very fun!!
