Located along the picturesque shoreline of New Baltimore, Ruedisale Point Park offers a peaceful retreat for pets and their owners. This pet-friendly park features accessible amenities including wheelchair-accessible parking and restrooms, making it a welcoming spot for everyone. While the park is known for its tranquil lake views and opportunities to watch the sunrise, it has increasingly become a favorite destination for dog owners looking for a quiet spot to spend quality time outdoors.
Dog lovers can enjoy walking their pets on scenic, dog-friendly trails, take advantage of free doggie bags and waste stations, and relax at picnic tables or benches while their pups play fetch or take a dip in the lake. Although the playground equipment has been removed and dogs must remain on-leash within the park, the wide-open green spaces and access to the water make it a unique place for dogs to swim and for owners to unwind. The park is well-maintained and ideal for those searching for a lesser-known, peaceful dog park experience in the New Baltimore area.
Great little turnout style park. Very peaceful. The parking lot faces the lake, you can even sit in your car in the cold weather and enjoy the views.
It’s a really nice place to go. Everyone there was friendly and helpful. And it’s a place you can catch fish at.
Best dog park! My dogs and I love this park. Usually very quiet and not a lot of people. Perfect place to watch the sunrise and for the dogs to swim. Also seems to be upkept very well except for the people who cant figure out how to clean up after their dogs (even though they provide doggie bags)
It’s a great place to walk from your house if you’re in the area. It has various places to sit and beautiful lake scenery. It provides free doggy bags and also a place to throw away dog waste. Great for taking your dog to play fetch, or to take them for a dip in the lake.
This park has become mostly just a dog park. They USED to have swings, a slide, seesaws, and stuff for kiddos to play on, but they’ve removed ALL of it, and left it empty. There are only a few “In Memory Of” benches and a couple picnic tables to sit on, otherwise, it’s mainly a place for dogs to play (they still have to be on leashes though, so you can’t let them free-play) or to go fishing.
I used to love bringing my kids here, it was never too crowded and it was closer to home than the Walter and Mary Burke Park.
