Great Park! A little gem basically in the heart of the city!!! The fishing was fantastic! I spoke to a local who told me Kayaks were allowed, so I drug it out and slayed!!! A couple big pike and a few lunky large mouth!!!

If you’re into oddly situated nature areas, this one’s definitely worth a trip.
Beautiful mini waterfall. Nice Trail. But there isn’t a long trail or other things to see & there were loads of flying insects. But overall, it is a beautiful lake to visit.
Average in area but a cozy park. Good amount people loves spending time fishing there. Less crowded on Saturday afternoon. Good for a short walk. Specific recommendation for those who loves the sound of water. Walk beside the lake till the southern part of lake to find the water cascades. I found it pleasing and relaxing.
Very peaceful and serene. The people I encountered were very friendly, and so were the doggies. My only wish would be that fur parents pick up after their fur babies, especially since people use the beautiful scenery for memorable pictures like weddings and 1st birthdays. No one wants to step in poop, but I surly would not want my dress to encounter it.
