Nice trail in part sun, part shade area. Not crowded, very peaceful and quiet. Took us 30-40 minutes both ways. There is a parking garage near library where stay is free if you stay less than 2 hours.

This trail is beautiful. Some trees are labeled with their names. There are a couple spots where you can get by the water. My 3 year old had fun with that. Getting by the water we saw some interesting wildlife in and out of it. There were people running, walking, some with their dogs. Great trail!

Beautiful park and walking path. We took the boys and they had a blast. There was so much more to offer other than the typical park with swing sets. The walking path has creeks, indigenous forestation and wildlife. My boys were so much more interested in the trees and meeting some of the other visitors dogs than the swing sets. It was great.

A large park with a small playground. Many vast fields for whatever you like. Not very functional for formal sports though. Most of the park parallels the Rouge River and its quite verdant with the wood chip trail that meanders alongside the river. Its an escape into the wilderness despite its close proximity to downtown. A lot of effort has be considered to make this a protected area and educational experience with thought out placards and the occasional outdoor art installations. Its well maintained and worth a visit! The system also connects with Quarton Lake and other local trails.
