Vienna Park in Temperance, MI is a spacious, pet-friendly destination with a welcoming atmosphere for both dogs and their owners. The park is well-maintained and offers a variety of amenities, including picnic tables, public restrooms, barbecue grills, pavilions, playgrounds, and baseball fields. It’s a local favorite for hiking, disc golf, and family gatherings, making it a great spot for dog owners seeking more than just a walk.
Dog owners will appreciate the open trails and wooded areas, ideal for leashed, dog-friendly hiking. While dogs are welcome, Monroe County parks have a strict leash law, and it’s important that pets are kept on-leash for everyone’s safety. Vienna Park is also wheelchair accessible, featuring accessible entrances and parking, plus areas of shade for hot days. Whether you’re coming for pet-friendly trails, kids’ playgrounds, or a peaceful local walk, Vienna Park is a top choice in Temperance.
Nice park, good variety of woods and wide open holes. Each one has 2-3 possible pin placements so it keeps the play interesting. Long course, some rough terrain, can be windy. The park also has some grills and pavilions, great for a cook out. There is a playground and some baseball diamonds.
A gorgeous park. The disc golf course is well kept and there are markers for where the next t-pad is. Only issue is during the rainy season when the wooded holes have a foot of water. But outside of that I would definitely recommend it to those looking for a fun complex course.
Very nice country park. We will be holding my daughter’s wedding here in the future. Would be nice if pavilion was maintained a little better and there were permanent restrooms instead of just Porta potties.
Very solid disc golf course. I enjoy the variety of shots and different discs needed to play this course. Very well kept also and easy to find each hole/tee.
This is a beautiful park maintained well by the County of Monroe. There is a strict leash law for Monroe County parks and dogs are off leash way more often than they are leashed at Vienna Park. I have reported incidents of uncontrolled dogs with no recall off leash. Leashes keep all dogs protected from one another and need to be enforced. I wish Bedford police and Monroe Township would patrol here more often to make this known before an avoidable accident arises.
