This park is so big! I didn’t know they had the nature trails(pics)!
It has the historic vibe upfront with the pond and the fake small park look. The forest is amazing with all kinds of growth and overgrowth. Be careful if it’s muddy, that stuff is sludge.
I can see where it would be wheel chair accessible on the path because it’s well maintained, but again, not in the mud. Unless you have the coolest wheelchair in the world.
Very peaceful park to walk at. Nice long path. It would seem the geese are hand fed by someone.
Another Beautiful Escape
This park is simply stunning — clean, peaceful, and full of natural beauty. A perfect spot for a relaxing walk or quiet reflection. Great atmosphere with kind, respectful people around.
A place you’ll want to visit again and again. 🌿☀️
What a fun discovery. Lots of history, trails, and places to enjoy being outside. The only restroom I could find was at the library (which is right there). Saw a wedding that had just taken place, fishing, and a family having their pictures taken. There was so much more to discover, but I was there for a soccer game.
Beautiful trails absolutely loved it. Definitely recommend to go to anyone who needs some sun or a mental day or simply enjoy nature. It’s so relaxing and everyone is friendly. They also have small concerts which is so cool and many food and drinks when they do the concerts.
