My personal experiences at this park over the years is that it is a nice clean park with a nature setting. The fishing from the Fishing Pier is a great. You get the opportunity to meet some nice people while fishing and relaxing by the water.
A great walking area park with scenic views along the Detroit River. The park itself is an island: the channel separating it from the mainland is like a large creek that has 4 bridge crossings. The park has many large mature oaks and other tree species.
🌳 Elizabeth Park has been the perfect backdrop for both my class reunion and family reunion — and it never disappoints! We’ve returned several times since, and every visit is just as beautiful and peaceful as the first. The park is full of scenic views, great for photos, walks, or just relaxing by the water. Perfect place for people of colors. We found many south asian and middle eastern people there hanging out with family and friends. Perfect place for a family hangout. You can catch fish as well.
Beautiful park. Lots of walkable areas. Plenty of benches to stop and rest. Fun playgrounds too
