Eisenhower Dog Park is a popular destination for pet owners in Westbury, NY looking for a spacious, dog-friendly environment. The park features separate areas for large and small dogs, making it a favorite among locals with pets of varying sizes. The large open space provides plenty of room for your pup to run, play, and socialize, while the well-maintained turf makes cleanup a breeze. Friendly visitors, accessible facilities, and a welcoming atmosphere make this an excellent spot for newbies and regulars alike.
Convenient amenities such as wheelchair-accessible entrances, trash bins, and free poop bags add to the park’s appeal. Water hoses are typically available for thirsty pups, and many owners bring their own kiddie pools during the warm New York summers, adding extra fun for dogs who enjoy splashing and swimming. For dog owners in Nassau County searching for a reliable dog park in Westbury, Eisenhower Dog Park provides an enjoyable and safe space for a great outing.
my dog Groovy loves this park with all his heart he goes everyday and especially loves it in the summer time because we bring a kiddie pool for the dogs to swim in. He has a whole group of friends and everyone there is very friendly and responsible with their fur babies i love it here and so does groovy
Very friendly people. Great dogs. It didn’t get bed until the little dog park.Little dogs started barking at the big dogs and driving them crazy. DPM
This weekend was the first time here. Really nice dog park: nice dogs, responsible people, nice size, turf is nice to have because it makes it easy to pickup after the dog.
So why 4 stars not 5? As I travel with my dog we have been to extraordinary dog parks, 5 stars is reserved for them. Some are on a lake or the sea shore, some cover acres, some are wooded, play equipment, there some with agility equipment.
Very large open area for the big dogs. I took my small dog here a few times, tho she doesn’t love dog parks, they have a nice small area for them as well. Has trash bins all around for easy poopy clean up, free bags. Usually have a hose for water. Everyone is nice and friendly and welcoming.
Come here with my dog every couple of days, he’s not very sociable but he tolerates other dogs in the right environment, so the big open yard is a big plus for when he needs to find a corner to be alone in. He gets excited and goes crazy in the car as soon as he realizes we’re heading to this park. So far the dogs he has encountered have been friendly and respectful, and he’s even made a few friends. I’m sure it depends on the day but we have yet to encounter any real problems.
