Amazing park, hidden gem for sure. Great place to launch kayaks, canoes or tunes from. Has multiple launches with ample parking and trailer parking. Picnics areas, restrooms and playgrounds also make this a great park. It’s also on the B2B trail and has excellent scenic hiking across the Huron River.
Very nice natural area for the amount of population in proximity. Go off the trail. Beautiful riverbanks. Lots of glacier fossils and huge trees. Couple Hours of exploration available.
