Very nice beach park on the shores of Lake Superior. Great for swimming & rock hounding close to the Porcupine Mountains. Area is dog friendly, and while leashes are required, several dog owners enjoyed the beach without leashes (please use a leash). Area contained a changing room and picnic area

It’s quiet and clean. There is a screened enclosed picnic area plus other scattered tables outside of that. A small play area for the kids, but the best part is the sandy beach!

Monie McMurtry

Nice little place to walk along the beach and look for rocks. Little piles are washed ashore.

Nicole McGill

Nice quiet, small sandy beach. Water is rocky. But only at the shoreline. Minimal bugs laye July.

This small County park is one of the many beautiful sandy beaches along Lake Superior where you can walk in peace and quiet.A large crowd is 10 to 12 people. The park has an older playground. Two screened in picnic shelters and a few picnic tables.A place to change swim suits. The one negative is no restroom, but there is a porta potty. The water is a little bit cool but swimming, wading and looking for rocks and fossil with the sun make it warmer. The sunrise and sunset are Gorgeous you won’t want to miss.
