I looooove taking my dog here! They have a nice family beach and they have a spacious section for dogs to play on. My beagle loves running up and down the dunes and into the water. It’s usually never busy or loud. Only bad thing I’ve ever experienced was other peoples dogs who were a bit aggressive running around, but I’ve only experienced that once in my 5+ years going there.
Nice little beach area with a boardwalk leading down. Part of it was closed off due to disrepair and would love to see it fixed, a shame that it’s degraded that far without attention. Trail across the top of the dunes and a good overlook. Found a lot of the tiniest shells I’ve ever seen and walked a little ways down then up the dunes/cliff 🤪 in a few places, quite a workout but super fun coming back down. Great place to spend a day, relaxing and wasn’t overcrowded when we were there.
I love walking around on the stairs and boardwalk. Good exercise and the walkway is well maintained. Is you do one end and then the same return trip it is about 175 stairs up and down!!
Found this place on a cloudy, windy day while delaying heading over to the nearby amusement park. Cute little beach with a picnic area on one side and a dog park on the other. Boardwalk of sorts connecting the two above where the beach wanders. Be warned of the numerous stairs if you choose to go that route, I think the view is worth it. My kids may not have agreed so much.
Great place to bring your dog. Chase had a blast in the sand dunes and on the beach.
