This area is very pretty. Has hills, flowers, cattails, and an apple tree. There are picnic tables and a disc golf course. No playground, so not best for children. Disc golf course is extensive. Includes holes that go nearby/over the ponds of water there, so best for those who know what they’re doing and don’t risk accidentally throwing their disc into the water. Not crowded at all.

It was a great hike. The paths were smooth, and there were many beautiful sights

Great park to walk around with your dogs or if you are into disc golf. It is a decent 18-hole course with lots of water hazards and tons of weeds and tall grass. Prepare to lose a disc or two, as I assume most who have braved this course will also tell you. I have seen a great variety of wildlife here though, ranging from snakes to muskrat to deer and even eagles. There are good walking trails that aren’t too challenging, but there are a few muddy spots that you should definitely look out for. Sits right on the Macatawa River if you like fishing or kayaking.

Beautiful park with plenty of places to hike or walk.
Scenic and peaceful with some nice views of the river.
There are several bridges that cross the river. A nice place to spend some time or get some exercise walking your dog(s). Love it.

Lovely place to go for walks. This is our go-to nature walk destination from May to October. The disc golf course looks super fun as well, though we haven’t tried it yet. The scenery here is beautiful in every season.
