This is a laid back campground community with great people. It is member owned meaning that if you choose to become a member you purchase your lot and own it. The directors are elected by the members. We bought in 3 years ago and it is work in progress but the directors are doing everything they can to make it awesome.. we love it here and all of the friends we have made here . It is open for public camping and has cabin rentals as well

Small hometown atmosphere. Family friendly and pet friendly. Everyone has been welcoming and makes you feel like you are part of the community. Very quiet at night, peaceful and the view of the stars is amazing. Could use some updating, but that is a work in progress. Overall, 5 stars for being close to nature, and a friendly community atmosphere.

My family has a couple of lots here. It’s improving. This is an edited review where in the past I was pretty hard on them for the lack of updates. That has completely turned around. The bath houses are really starting to look nice. Not Taj Mahal, but campground nice and the maintenance is kept up.

The current administration really has busted their behinds to overcome past management woes. Progress can be slow at times, but Rome wasn’t built in a day. If you are reading negative reviews from days gone by, please ignore them.

Activities for all of the family are available much of the year. I will post updated pictures on my next visit. If you previously enjoyed this campground and left for whatever reason, I encourage you to make a visit and check it out.

To the volunteers and staff. My apologies, this review edit is well overdue. Well done!
