Kruse Park Dog Beach is a beloved dog park in Muskegon, MI, offering a unique and scenic experience along Lake Michigan’s picturesque shoreline. Known for its long stretch of clean sand and designated off-leash area, it’s a popular destination for dog owners looking to enjoy pet-friendly trails and dog-friendly hiking. Accessible via a convenient paid parking lot and a new staircase, the beach provides spectacular views, plenty of space for dogs to run and play, and is generally quieter than other regional options.
Visitors appreciate the park’s abundant amenities: barbecue grills, picnic tables, restrooms, shelters, and even kid-friendly activities with a playground nearby. While dogs have access to both the beach and the hiking trails, owners also enjoy easy access to public restrooms and picnic areas, making Kruse Park Dog Beach a top choice for families and their four-legged friends.
Kruse beach is a long stretch of very clean sand. Of leash dog beach. Our dogs love it here. It’s worth the hour and a half drove from kalamazoo.
The best dog beach we’ve ever been to!! Easy paid parking and a short walk down the new staircase to the beach. Very clean, lots of space and not busy. My pup and I loved it!
Beautiful place to visit when it’s empty! 😁
Nice and clean beach, long shoreline to take a walk. There are lots of steps to go down to the beach which I loved! Addition exercise at no cost! There is a sign for pet owners to go to the right from the stairs, and no pet free to the left. But some people were careless about it unfortunately 😔. So if you go on the weekend to pet free section, be ready to come back to the blanket full of wet sand from dogs running around..
