I have been going here for over 30 years. We just went over mother’s day and will not go back. The prices they want for shit they picked out of the trash. The people selling nursery stock is a joke trees upwards of 250.00 i can go to a big box store for that and get a guarantee. Than the owner of the place has his own thing going on with his little store. Same thing I can go to Walmart and get a better deal. It is about an hour ride but we made a day out of it and had fun in the area. What a joke don’t waste your time. I think we are heading towards sugar creek area next mother’s day. Much more to do and not get ripped off.

Most of the individuals selling items denied service to us because they didn’t like my mil dressing how she wanted because she’s obviously gay. Most of the vendors next to the road are extreme bigots. I would avoid this place if you value any freedom and individualality.

The Andover Flea Market always surprises. The drive there is small towns and farms. Scenery. It’s a great getaway from hustle and bustle. The market is never the same outside. There are “regulars” who vend there, but many show up just for a weekend. The merch is everything from vintage antiques to toys for all ages. Vinyl LPs and comics for nerds like me. Things that take you back to a better era. There are refreshment stands to staunch the heat. The lemonade is terrific. There are also farmers market produce stands. Everything and anything and something else. It’s a great walk and a lot of friendly conversations. Check it out on weekends through the fall. Lord knows what you will find.
