Fantastic dog park: Large, grassy, quiet, clean and well-maintained. Away from noisy roads and other facilities. Best dog park we’ve found in the state so far. Agility obstacles for the dogs and shade and seating for the parents. Plenty of parking.
Nothing spectacular but its all we got. It’s also run by volunteers, so I commend the kind people for keeping this park running.
Cons: Its hard to find and you must bring your own water.
Pro: Large field with separate areas for large and small dog.The people are well behaved and dogs do a great job of looking after their owners.
This place was great – I found it to be much better than the other reviewers. It was really big, had separate gated halves for small dogs (under 30 lbs) and large dogs, was grassy with trees and a few big rocks, had benches, and had stands fully stocked with poop bags and trash cans. Not sure what more you could ask for from a dog park. The GPS issue must have been corrected – mine took me right there, plus there were signs for the dog park along the road leading up to it.
This place is the best I wish it was a little closer to where I live. It’s around 20 minutes and is the closest one to me but it has everything you’d need. Nice walking trails in the woods and a large and small dog area that is well stocked with bags for picking up poo and always a group of friendly puppers.
Update Nov 2022 – been here a few times lately. There’s always at least one other person with a dog here but it’s been very quiet. Only 1 or 2 other dogs. Many times I’ve had to wait 30 minutes for someone else to show up so my dogs aren’t playing alone. Well stocked w dog bags and clean but wish there was some more action. I drive a bit to get here to have my dogs socialize and get out some energy. I can’t control that it isn’t busy but I wish more people used the place it is nice
Very nice dog park. We were passing through town with our dog and found this place on the DogPack app. It is well maintained and has nice natural features (trees, rocks) as well as a few obstacles for Fido to play on. Bring your own water.
