Howard Dog Park #2 is a smaller, less crowded dog park in Howard, WI, great for dog owners seeking a peaceful place to let their dogs play off-leash. Situated behind local apartments and perched on a hill, this park typically stays drier and less muddy than nearby parks, making it a nice option after rainy weather. Though the fenced area itself is modest in size, it remains clean and is surrounded by grassy patches most of the year.
What makes this park particularly inviting is its direct connection to pet-friendly walking trails, allowing you and your pup to extend your outing with scenic walks. The park offers wheelchair-accessible entrances and parking, and street parking is readily available near the entrance. While it may be simple in amenities, Howard Dog Park #2 is perfect for quick doggie playdates or a break during a walk through Howard’s dog-friendly hiking trails.
Muddy mess. We walked on the nice trail instead
Smaller dog park behind the apartments. Because it’s high and on a hill, it’s usually less muddy and the grass is in better shape thnearby options.
I love this little park, but it’s really empty most of the time. It can be great for doggie play dates due to that, and because it’s attached to walking trails, it’s nice to let our dog stretch his legs off leash for a couple minutes mid-walk.
This is a pretty sad dog park. Tiny, no trail around it. At least it was clean. It seems like there is enough space on the map for it to have been bigger and greener. Also no water Spicket.
Nice little dog park connected to lots of walking paths. Park on street to walk up to entrance.
