If you’re looking for a friendly spot for your furry companion in Cedar Springs, Michigan, explore Cedar Springs Dog Park, conveniently located within Riggle Park. This dog-friendly park features two secure, fenced areas for both large and small dogs to run and play off-leash. The well-maintained park also caters to families, with a basketball court, picnic tables, accessible playground equipment, and an inviting community atmosphere.
What makes this dog park unique is its small-town charm, easy wheelchair accessibility (including dedicated parking), and proximity to kid-friendly amenities and a nearby creek that adventurous pups can enjoy. While there isn’t running water or restrooms, the park offers plenty of space for dogs to socialize and roam freely. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, Cedar Springs Dog Park is a great option for exercising your dog or enjoying an outing with the whole family.
Really cool old school playground equipment in fantastic shape. There’s plenty for the kids to do while you spend some quality time with your fur buddy in one of the two large, secure dog park areas.
Just found this place recently. I do like it. Behind the actual park there is a creek that my dogs found and loved. There’s only one picnic table to sit at, so bring a chair! When we went, there were about 10 dogs on the big dog side. Really fun for them.
Nice little park but fairly new. Wasn’t anyone for my furbaby to play with for about a 1/2 hour. 2 people showed up at different times and both weren’t aware of there being a dog park there. Only 1 picnic table for seating and it’s in the sun, so bring chairs to sit on if you can’t stand to long.
Great dog park for your dogs to run free and your family can come too has a playground and basketball court.. They have a pen for large breeds and small breed dogs. Dogs all seem to be friendly and get along well with each other.
No restroom or running water which is the only negative part.
A cute small little Dog Park in a small town area. Tucked away inside the Riddle Park. It does have a small dog area and a large dog area. Not a whole lot to either. Large dog area has a hydrant, and both have a picnic table. There’s enough area for you dog to run so that good. It seems like it’s well taken care of. We were there on a beautiful sunny day in October and there was nobody there. We stayed over an hour and nobody came. So poor puppy didn’t get to play with any friends.
Overall I’m thankful so many places are finally adding dog parks. This isn’t the best one out there, but it’s more than adequate. Therefore I’m giving it a 4 star review. Would I return? Yes, but only if I was in the area anyways.
