Located at 67 Thompson Rd in Webster, Massachusetts, Webster Dog Park is a convenient and pet-friendly place for local dog owners to let their dogs play and socialize. This fenced park features two separate areas for small and large dogs, making it easy for all breeds and sizes to enjoy a safe experience. Owners can relax as their dogs explore agility obstacles and tunnels provided within both sections.
While the park is made primarily of small gravel rather than grass, it offers dog-friendly amenities such as agility equipment and access to a larger grassy area outside the park for additional walks. Visitors have noted the unique surface and the importance of monitoring their dog’s feet if sensitive to gravel. The nearby lake and additional open fields provide great opportunities for walks and outdoor activities beyond the fenced play area.
Always wonderful someone takes the time to build a dog park… but im sorry. All crushed stone. Not a very good idea
We were excited that there was a dog park in town. When we arrived I was a little confused because I had never seen a dog park made with small pebble stones. It is a cute little area and our dog really enjoyed going there, running around, and playing with other dogs. I noticed that our dog was not running super fast like he usually does and started walking around cautiously by the time we were leaving. When we got home we noticed he was licking his paws for about 20 minutes. I finally looked at his feet and all 4 paws were cut up. This was from the stones at the park. We were very disappointed and unfortunately won’t go back because of the stones.
The tiny rocks are bad for my little dogs feet but we still love this place
Decent dog park, has separate areas for small and large dogs. Both sides have some obstacles which is pretty cool. There’s also a field across the street you can walk your dog around.
As others have mentioned, it’s all gravel instead of grass which is an odd choice, but my dog didn’t seem to mind.
If you’re looking for a much bigger park with grass and some shade, check out Uxbridge dog park.
Shoutout to the person who uploaded 100 pictures of the lake. The lake is close, but not visible from the park.
my dog didn’t really enjoy this place. the rocks bothered her paws and it’s a small area but the outside of the park is grass and it’s a larger nicer area so she kept just watching everyone outside of the dog park.
it does have two separate parks though for small and large dogs. there was also a few outdoor toys and tunnels in both areas.
