Kind of small not a clean environment. People need to learn to pickup dog waste

Dog Daze Park is located inside Cal Zorn Recreation Center, off N. Raisin Center Hwy. It is just a few yards south of the parking area. The dog park is well-kept and clean. The fenced of area is for both large and small dogs. It has a tall water spigot to help cool off dogs.

Not too bad, no separate areas for big dogs vs small dogs. Some toys and poop bags available. Water is on and working with a provided bowl (great for my dog cause he hates running water so he won’t use fountains.) Trees make it a nice shaded area to play in the summer with a picnic table inside as well.

This park has potential, but unfortunately, it’s poorly maintained. There is dog waste everywhere, which makes it unpleasant for both dogs and owners. It’s frustrating that some people don’t clean up after their pets, and it seems like the city isn’t doing much to address the issue. Regular maintenance and better enforcement of cleanup rules would make a huge difference.

There’s also plenty of room to expand the park. When I lived in Farmington Hills, the city required proof of spay/neuter, vaccines, and a NULL fee to access the gated dog park. In return, they provided a key fob for entry, and those funds helped pay for regular maintenance. A system like that could really improve this park’s condition and overall experience.
