If you’re seeking a dog-friendly haven in Apollo Beach, Florida, look no further than Apollo Beach Dog Park. This beautifully maintained park features spacious, fenced-in areas designed specifically for both small and large dogs, ensuring pups of all sizes can play safely. Local pet parents rave about the agility equipment, open grassy space for running, and a friendly welcoming atmosphere making it a top destination for dog owners in the area.
The park is also equipped with thoughtful amenities such as water bowls, a hose for washing off muddy paws, shaded seating under covered shelters, and convenient waste stations stocked with poop bags. Owners will enjoy ample seating, a clean environment, and plenty of opportunities for socialization—both for themselves and their canine companions. The broader recreational area includes a playground and splash pad ideal for families visiting with children.
This place is fantastic if you have Littles 8 or under, the playground and splash pad are not really geared toward older kiddos but my 5-year-old niece and 2-year-old nephew really love it!
Huge running and playing area for both large and small dog dedicated areas. Water, challenge obstacles, people seating, and even doggie bags are available. Lots of parking (but not right in front of dog park section) and other amenities for people including skate park, shelter, athletic courts and more. Highly recommend a visit.
WE ENJOYED THE PARK. FUN AND GREAT MOVEMENT FOR THE LITTLE BOY
They have 2 separate areas. One for small dogs (25 pounds and under), and a large dog area. They have bowls with water. There’s even a water hose to hose off your dirty dog. My 4 month old puppy had a blast. We started in the large dog area. Once everyone left, we took her to the small dog area. There were more puppies over there, and she had fun playing and running around! We will definitely be back! They have a covered area with benches for the pet parents to sit. There is also a container with poop bags to make it easier to clean up after your dogs.
We just brought our 17-week-old Old English Sheepdog here, and she absolutely loved it! The park has plenty of open space for dogs to run and play, with separate areas for small and large dogs, so everyone can have a safe and fun experience. We also loved that they have agility-style equipment for some extra play and training. The park was clean, well-maintained, and full of friendly dogs and owners. Definitely a great spot for socialization and exercise—we’ll be coming back often!
