Dell Avenue Park in Kenvil, NJ is a charming local destination known for its peaceful atmosphere and inviting amenities, making it a pleasant spot for dog owners and families alike. This neighborhood park features a recently renovated playground with sections designed for both younger and older children, which adds to its family appeal. The addition of a pavilion provides much-needed shade on warm days, making it comfortable for pet owners to relax while their pups explore the grounds.
While not a dedicated dog park, Dell Avenue Park offers spacious, open areas for on-leash adventures and is a great spot for those seeking a quiet setting to enjoy time outdoors with their dogs. The park is well-maintained with updated equipment and is especially tranquil during school hours. Visitors recommend bringing your own essentials since the park currently does not offer restrooms or on-site water fountains, but it does have a sand pit and pathways perfect for leisurely strolls.
Cute little park for all ages. I love this park to avoid the crowds. Bring a sand bucket for the sand pit and chalk for the sidewalk. The local kids on a busy day always manage to start a game of tag. Only disadvantage is no bathroom. Im sure due to covid they took away the porta potty.
The new park is very nice. The update was greatly needed. The pavilion is a very nice addition to the park. It provides much-needed shade to Parents on hot days.
Didn’t really visit there just another way to get around traffic
Just took my sweet granddaughter here today, have not been in years. They did such a nice job cleaning up the park and the equipment they have there is so nice. Love it has the two separate areas for smaller kids and bigger kids. Not sure if the one thing is a sandpit for them to play in…that needs work it’s kind of gross looking if it is for that.
Bathrooms and maybe a picnic table or two and this would be a perfect park. It’s quiet especially during the day while kids are in school, a variety of fun things for the kids to do.
Nice park to take the lids. Quite, peaceful
