Nice park for elementary kids. The playground is clean and has bathrooms. The only problem is the gun range behind it; it’s a little unsettling hearing gunshots while the kids are playing. If it weren’t for that, I would have given it five stars.
The park is very kind friendly, especially the sponge turf so if a kid falls they won’t scrap or bleed.
It has a lot of disability friendly things as well.
There’s a few of the “attractions” that require vigilant attention as they can get a kid seriously hurt. The spinning house, the track with the swing and stability pole all can easily heart young children wandering.
Parents should be paying attention and not on their phones.
The grandboy loved this park. We aren’t from the area! Decided to swing in as he wanted to play the structure is amazing and im rather jelous as the play equipment I had when I was little and the most exciting thing we had was the big metal slide that burned your ass cheeks. But none the less seeing all the kids and families having a fun time and other parents pushin kids on the swings made the experience that much better I would gladly drive out there again for the boy!
This is the sweetest park! Totally accessible for all ages and parents and capability!
Honestly – great playground for kids. Well maintained sports areas. The “trails” are really only paths from the neighborhoods to the library and park.
Multiple off leash dogs around even though it’s a state park. Many feces not picked up. Disappointing that people do this.
