as of 2023.05, the playground has been totally updated. More kids and parents are coming outside.
This place was beautiful and clean. I like the pedestrian-friendly crossings from the bigger parking area too.
Great place to walk around the lake. You don’t need to be a member to enjoy park lake. People walk there dogs, they just don’t want the dogs on the beach area. You can also take your bike.. a ton of local rockaway residence come and do a walk, jog or bring there kids here to enjoy the playground. They have concerts here during the summer months
Pretty area to take a 0.7 of a mile loop as many times as you like. Has nice variety with some shade and also suns. But the sunny part is near the road and could use a little shade which is why I didn’t give it five stars.
