Discover the natural beauty of Graham Lakes Trailhead, a scenic trail system conveniently located in Oakland Township, Michigan. Known for its peaceful, pet-friendly trails, this park is a popular destination for local dog owners looking to enjoy dog-friendly hiking, walking, biking, and even jogging with their furry friends. With its serene mix of pine woods, lakeside views, and quiet farm landscapes, it’s an ideal getaway for those seeking a tranquil outing with their pet.
Dog owners will appreciate the park’s welcoming atmosphere—dogs are allowed on the trails, making it a favored spot for walking and outdoor recreation with your pup. While the trails are well-loved year-round, locals note that winter brings beautifully groomed cross-country ski routes. Just remember to bring boots in wet weather as some areas can get muddy, and be aware that the trails, while peaceful and scenic, can also be secluded at times.

The trails go along the woods, farm houses, and a lake. You feel very peaceful on these trails, but they also are secluded.
Note: If you’re not comfortable walking alone, this is not your spot.
I love the trails. I really enjoy riding my bike and walking my dogs here. It’s pretty quiet and peaceful and the other people we pass by are always nice and courteous
Nice trail. Wear boots, it can get pretty mucky.
