Sports Center Park is a well-maintained, pet-friendly park located in St Peters, Missouri, at 7 N Service Rd. Known for its large open grassy fields spanning 5–6 acres, this park is a favorite among locals for dog walking, playing catch, and scenic strolls. The paved paths that loop around the park make for excellent dog-friendly hiking and easy access for both you and your four-legged pals. Benches and picnic tables provide seating for owners to relax while their dogs enjoy the open space.
While not an official or fenced dog park, Sports Center Park is popular for its quiet, clean environment and convenient central restroom. It offers shaded spots and fruit trees that add to its charm, and is also great for families with kids thanks to nearby sports fields and play areas. Parking is generally available but may become limited during busy events. Please note that the creek in the park is not suitable for swimming, and flooding may occur during the rainy season.
Good practice field, fields don’t get much work so they are a little rough.
I love this park. I walk my dog every morning and we walk through the park. It is quiet, pretty, well kept and has benches for a quick sit. It has picnic table and restrooms. Great area for kids to play.
Basic sports park. Has around 5-6 acres of open grass for use as soccer fields as well as two dedicated baseball fields.
There are no concession stands here and the parking is a bit limited if there are multiple events going on at the same time requiring you to park on the side of the Babe Road just onto the grass.
There is one centrally-located restroom facility here so if you’re on the far field it’s a bit of a hike across the fields to get there.
This has been a good park to take the dogs for a walk because there’s a paved path around the entire park. It’s unfortunate that it floods so much. There are fruit trees that are delicious for several months of the year as well.
Nice open mantained field and great parking. The creek is polluted and not a type of creek you could play in or fish at. I come here all the time to walk my dog and practice playing catch. Great place to have a picnic.
