Shopping here is amazing. Not only I was able to enjoy great customer service, but I met with a caring spirit. Being over 50 and unable to carry a lot, I always have a bit of an issue grocery shopping. With my ability to lift and load is very limited. However, I was greeted by a young man who offered his help in making sure that I am ok. Ian was very helpful, quick and courteous in my shopping experience. He loaded my car, thank me for shopping and continued to pickup more carts. All with a big smile, I can see that his heart was in the right place. Thank you Ian for rescuing me.
The best local option for food shopping by far.
The choice is fantastic, there are many items within each category to choose from, and lots of amazing surprises too – the live lobster tank, dry aged beef cuts, the oyster selection, to name a few. Love it here.
You also get a great selection of food to go – there’s an Asian bar, wings and fries, soups, sandwiches, pizza, salads, hot chicken, sushi, and ready meals. You can take it upstairs and sit in Comfort to eat, too – the seating area is large and there’s sofas as well as proper dining tables. Cutlery is downstairs, sauces and napkins upstairs, as well as toilets
This cake is rarely in stock nowadays. I’ve been told many different things from: it’s not made on site, it is made on site, no it’s only assembled on site after its baked from a 3rd party, no we’ve never made/ never sold gluten-free cake, we only have cakes made of gluten, one woman said she only bakes gluten-free cakes before 4 pm, and much more.
I hope the team leader sees that the cake is on shelves in the Bakery Section; despite contradictions highlighted above.
I want to note that William has been very professional, helpful, and a great worker in the Bakery Section. He’s why I went through the proper channels to discuss this issue prior to making this post. However, I am writing this because I have a gluten allergy and could be hospitalized if the gluten-free cakes are gluten; despite the advertising sticker that claims otherwise.
Ruined by hoards of instacart shoppers frantically dashing around everywhere creating a less than pleasant atmosphere and limited or no stock in many places.
Meat and cheese selection was solid and I’ve given a star back to them in my review score for the cart wipes at the entrance. Clean throughout the whole store, so credit where it’s due.
1st time Wegman shopper and pleasantly surprised at the great variety. I’ll definitely stop in when nearby. Lots of options and great quantities.
Price is in line with what you would get from Trader Joe’s or Aldi for the most part, at least based on the purchases I made. If I had more time I would have explored more of the warehouse sized grocery store…most grocery stores are a fraction of the size.
