Community Park, located at 4611 Central School Rd in St Peters, Missouri, is a well-maintained public park featuring a basic yet functional dog park where pups can run off-leash. Known for its clean grounds, kept mowed and tidy by regular maintenance, this location is a convenient spot for dog owners seeking a no-frills, open area for exercise and off-leash play. The park provides a peaceful setting, and users enjoy the fantastic views of dandelion fields through a sturdy chain link fence, as well as access to unique adventure trails—including a playful, graffiti-adorned “troll bridge.”
Community Park also accommodates families and groups, with a small pavilion featuring several tables, an on-site grill, and occasionally cleaned port-a-potties. There’s plenty of open grassy space perfect for dog training drills or gatherings, and it’s a great spot for sledding in the winter. While the park can become a bit muddy in certain spots after rain, especially near the entrance, its natural charm and pet-friendly amenities make it a staple for locals searching for dog-friendly parks and trails in St Peters, Missouri.
Went sledding last night and had a blast great hills for sledding.
Best Park ever! Fantastic views of dandelion fields through the chain link fence. Be sure to to check the fabulous adventure trail. Sure to be an awesome refuge from the sun in the summer and includes a genuine troll bridge, albeit a bit rotten. Bridge not recommended for larger individuals! Also the decorative artwork (graffiti) of particular note – “I ❤ weed” was very classy.
A must see. Bring the kids and all your family.
Bonus: has on site toilet facilities (read – occasionally cleaned port-a-potty.
The grounds were clean, minus the fact that some dog owners don’t bother picking up after their pets. We had a small family gathering for our sons 7th birthday, so the small 4 table pavilion worked out perfectly. We used the onsight grill to warm up the food, there were bathrooms open and available for us, we brought outdoor games and rented an inflatable obstacle course approved by the park and we had a blast!
Not very big and holds water in a couple spots around the plain at the entrance so its a little musty on sunny summer days. They keep that grass cut, so its nice for doing some drills. Baseball field looks nice. They work hard to keep it clean and tidy. All in all, well maintained and neat, worth if for fitting in an exercise.
I come here to let my dog run off leash. I’m usually the only one in the park. It’s super basic, but it gets the job done!
