Dogport Dog Park offers a spacious and secure environment for your canine companions in the heart of Maryland Heights, Missouri. Located at 2490 McKelvey Woods Ct, this members-only dog park is divided into two fenced sections for small and large dogs, ensuring a safe and fun experience for pets of all sizes. The park is known for its ample room for running and fetch, sand-covered grounds, and tall fences that prevent even the best escape artists from getting loose. There’s also agility equipment, such as a tunnel, slide, and hill, making it a favorite spot for dog-friendly activities and exercise.
The park features several amenities geared toward both dogs and their owners, including plenty of benches, some covered shelter for shade, and convenient parking. While the park has had occasional maintenance issues with water spigots and muddy areas, it generally remains clean and welcoming, with dedicated areas for both large and small dogs. A yearly membership and proof of vaccination are required for access, helping to ensure a healthy environment for all visiting pets.
Looks like a great facility, but members only, which is disappointing.
Always clean, parking is rarely an issue. Convenient location.
You have to be a member to get in…Some people are so rude to others about their dogs when they don’t control theirs…I don’t take my dog here…We do our own thing…Some people that take their dogs here aren’t vaccinated so watch for that…I say if you “have to be a member” Then I say have someone be there and have “members” show proof of vaccinations
A very spacious dog park divided into two areas with fences actually tall enough to keep escape artists in. There’s plenty of room for running around and playing fetch. The ground is covered in sand, so while dogs will get plenty sandy in wet weather, they will not come home muddy. For the humans there are plenty of benches with some shelter. There is a hill, a tunnel, and a slide for the dogs. Plenty of dogs come here to play, but it is usually not crowded in mid day. A reasonable yearly fee is required for access. This is my family’s favorite dog park.
Only been a patron since January. Was great until about 1 1/2 months after water was turned on for the season. Slow leak was reported and still not sure if it’s fixed. Large dog run has become a muddy, swampy, algae covered mess all around the spigot concrete pad and elsewhere now. Guaranteed to have a muddy, stinky, and hopefully not sick dog.
Only good thing about the park now is the small dog side which is used by whatever size dog now, rightfully so.
