Stopped here as we were passing through from Presque Isle to Roger’s City just for the view and pictures of the statue of liberty 🗽 figure and were amazed at how pretty and kept up the park is. A great place to spend a day at.

Absolutely gorgeous views of the lake! Sandy Beach, kids playground, picnic tables and pretty landscaping. There is a lodge with many picnic tables, really nice bathrooms, a fireplace and what looks like concessions.

We are camping at Hoeft State Park, and we heard that the Petoskey Steel Drum Band was performing. We went down to watch them. We walked around the park. Very nice. On the Lake Huron waterfront. Very nice park. The Pavillion Grill had pretty good food and decent prices. The band shell made for a nice performance by the Petoskey Steel Drum Band, all high schoolers.
