Dog park for Batavians. Unlike neighboring communities that threaten fees and fines for use of their facilities.
The area is great. Double gated entrance (though needs some repair) allows safe entrance and exit.
On-site agility area for extra fun.
Wide open. So it’s hot on sunny days. Extra windy on windy days
I don’t head out enough but I should. It is a great local perk.
My favorite dog park! My dog doesn’t need a leash because he follows me around with no problem. so I love that this is an off leash park, especially the trail. Everyone is always nice and responsible with their dogs. The parking lot is a bit out of sight. Meaning don’t leave valuables in your car because if someone breaks into your car, a good chance no one would see it
This place is truly amazing! But, also it’s FREE! My dog and I came here for the swim-beach during a summer heat-wave, and I was greatly impressed. The grounds are extremely well-kept and the locals are just as social and friendly as the dogs they bring to the park/beach. My only suggestions would be a trail-map/guide near the parking-area, maybe with a QR-barcode linking to a site where you can electronically make a free-will donation to the continued preservation of this awesome spot. Thank you!
Nice dog park. Spacious open area and a wooded area for your dog to run, play and explore. There’s also an obstacle course area as well. Also a nice little dog lake/beach too for your pooch to take a swim.
Cool place with nice people. Has a fenced in dog park, trails, and a good-sized pond that dogs can swim in. There’s benches and tables located at both the pond and dog park, but the pond one has a canopy as well for shade.
