Extremely happy to see the extra stuff built in and also leaving the fun existing swings and slides for the kids!

Nice spot to park the RV and hang out in Hillman or Alpena. Nice pull in sites with 30-50 amp svc., water and sewer for 30 a night. Can’t beat it.

There is a horseshoe ring, playground, and volleyball court. It’s right on the river. The campground was nice as well, lots spaced out enough so you’re not on top of each other. They have showers on site too, not the cleanest though. I would stay here again.

It’s always a great place for camping. But, now it’s reserve only. This stopped being our favorite place.. people leave their campers for the whole summer and nothing for anyone else..

Getting to the campsite late, the manager worked with me on getting a spot! John was super helpful and informative and answered any question I had.

The campground was very nice. Some mechanical maintenance on the bathrooms wouldn’t be a bad thing. Other than that, we set up a tent right next to the river. The people around were friendly, everything in town is within walking distance.
