We love taking our two pups to the Skokie Park District Pooch Park and they are always pooped when we get home! There is a lot of space for dogs of all sizes to run around and play, along with a separate fenced-in areas, one for small dogs and one with agility equipment to play on. The grounds are always clean and well taken care of and there are several areas with benches to sit and watch the fun.

Great place for dogs! Lots of space. Separate areas for small dogs and puppies. Agility area. Both dogs and humans are well-behaved. Grounds are well cared for.

A very lovely place for dogs which is guarded like Ft. Knox. Far more emphasis in reviews needed for the fact that this place is membership only via the cities of Evanston and Skokie for NULL/year, with special entrance membership cards and strict fines of 1000$ if caught or allowed in there fraudulently. Again, it’s a very lovely place and I can surely appreciate the desire to protect it but definitely do not plan a road trip with your fur baby here.

Ekko loves the dog park. And all his friends there!

I love that it’s a membership too. It’s the biggest reason he can go to a dog park – there is that extra safety pillar since all dogs need to be vaxxed, and fixed. People in the comments are forgetting that dog parks can be dangerous but the members here keep my mind at ease

This is my dog’s happy place, been coming here for over a decade, well worth the membership, which is simple and easy to apply for through the park district. Beware of the pack of Karens that usually are there on the small dog side from usually 230pm to 330ish…they’re annoying af, but there’s lots of great people otherwise. My personal advice if you have a small dog is to keep it on the small dog side, for saftey’s sake.
