Island City Dog Park is a welcoming dog park in Eaton Rapids, Michigan, designed for dogs and their owners to play, exercise, and socialize. Conveniently located at 400-468 Eaton Pines Blvd, this fenced dog park features amenities such as plenty of toys, benches under mature trees for natural shade, and a well water tap providing fresh water for your pet. The park is set away from high-traffic areas, making it peaceful and secure, perfect for dogs who prefer a quieter environment.
Pet parents will appreciate the park’s pet waste stations fully stocked with bags to help keep the park clean, as well as accessible seating areas along the fence line. Island City Dog Park is wheelchair accessible, kid-friendly, and has clear rules posted for everyone’s safety. While reviews note the park could benefit from more maintenance and agility obstacles, it remains a beloved spot for dog owners seeking a dog-friendly park in Eaton Rapids to let their pups run and socialize.
Lovely park. Our boxer girl loved it. We stayed for a bit, at lunch and let our girl just run. It was just us here. They have benches under a tree or along the fence line. Well water tap for fresh free water for the pets. Toys a plenty for pups to play with. Park has a pet waste station with bags to make picking up number twos easier. Loved it. Two paws up.
Unfortunately a lot of these pictures are very outdated and there are no obstacles for the dogs to use there but people have left toys for dogs to play with..my only complaint is it is not well maintained by the city ,beware of some big holes in the walkway to the park..and owners need to pay attention to their dogs while they’re there and clean up after them. The benches are a little dangerous with sharp corners and they need to be replaced. Overall it is a good place to socialize your dog if that’s what you’re looking for.
I like bringing my dog here to let him run around and have fun with other dogs. It’s a decent little dog park. Only downside is that it is not well maintained. Also the flies are horrible during the evening once that season comes around. Just wish it was better maintained, other than that it is great.
I was impressed with the toys left for the dogs to play with. Thankful for the water bowls of water and the bags to pick up your dog’s waste. Would like to see things for them to play on and maybe some training obstacles.
Checked it out yesterday and it was nice, clean, quiet and private so our barking fur babies don’t bother others and its in a location away from where high walk traffic distracts your puppy. Clear rules posted, obstacles and training materials available free to use and of course stocked heavy with poo bags 😉
