Located at 1180 Ottawa Beach Rd in Holland, Michigan, the Large Dog Park at Park Township Park is a top destination for dog lovers seeking a spacious, friendly environment. This dog park features two distinct areas: one for small dogs and another for larger breeds, making it easy for pets of all sizes to enjoy safe, off-leash playtime. Local visitors rave about the wide-open spaces, wooded sections, and unique agility features like climbing triangles, tractor tires, and twisting poles, ensuring plenty of fun for energetic pups.
The park is well-maintained, wheelchair accessible, and offers ample parking, picnic tables, water fountains (seasonal), and numerous benches for owners to relax. Just outside the gate, you’ll find a porta potty and nearby is a playground and grill area, making it an excellent spot for the whole family. Friendly local dog owners and a welcoming atmosphere make this one of the best dog parks in Holland, with easy access for residents and travelers alike.
Nice little park. Some ladies dog jumped on my lap and I almost took him home
We stopped at the dog park once in our visit to Holland Michigan and this park is so huge! There were a couple people with their dogs and our dogs were worn out in 30 mins. There’s also an agility section within the same park and it fulfilled the purpose for both our dogs.
Very friendly locals who helped us with a lot of information for local sightseeing. While we couldn’t get back to the dog park again, we definitely recommend this place.
Lot of room to play and run. Two separate areas one for small dogs and one area for large dogs. Well maintained, well lit and plenty of parking. The dog park is situated near a playground for children and public eating/grilling area.
An excellent dog park. Sectioned into 2 parts small dogs and everyone else. Not the widest, but a very nice long run lengthwise. The main dog park has a variety of areas for pups to enjoy themselves. From open areas to run, wooded areas to forge, tractor tires to climb and tunnel through. A climbing triangle, twisting poles, and fake hydrants to pee on. There’s a water fountain for warmer months. The only improvement I’d make is the surrounding fence is a little low.
Overall an easy 5 star review. Would I return? Absolutely. My dog loved her time there and didn’t want to leave!
Wow, this is starting to get ridiculous!! Does Michigan not have a bad dog park? This is another park that is very big and open it has trees, in fact it’s got a little bit of forest and then a little bit of nicely edged in rocks bench area with trees? And all the Rocks seem to be behind the little metal divider, I wonder whose job it is to make sure that stays looking like that? There is actually a porta potty just outside the gate, and the small dog park has plenty of places to sit as does the big dog park. They all have a lot of agility items and are both flat and easy to walk around.
