There is a common large loop perimeter walk for pet-friendly walks and trails within the park. Otter Creek is known locally for being one of the best dog parks in Eau Claire, perfect for off-leash freedom and a great stop for travelers or locals looking for a welcoming dog-friendly area.
Love the park. Nice and open. Obvious enough people don’t pick up after themselves. Also, guesstimate at least 33% owners in my visits there not very respectful. I know it is off leash, but dogs getting 50-75 yards from owners and owners not trying to get them back is bad in my book. I will go again, just with caution. Didn’t notice any obstacles at this one…
Large spaces for small & large dogs. Only issue was with a few of the owner’s that ignored their aggressive dogs.
They did NOTHING to stop their misbehaving dogs. I wanted a shock collar for these people.
The dog park has both flat walking areas and hilly parts with lots of shade trees. Plenty of benches.
I went on a weekday approx 1:00 pm. Around 10-12 dogs wirh 2 naughty owners who didn’t watch their dogs and 5 owners who followed rules. I would NEVER suggest going when it’s more crowded than 10-12 dogs..
BE AWARE of owners who show absolutely NO concern towards other dogs. And less concern about watching their own dogs behaviors.
Cut the grass please…can’t even see my dog anymore
Had a big day of holiday driving (7 hours) and had a wonderful stretch/play at this dog park. Fully fenced, plenty of bags, some benches, common big loop perimeter walk, big and small park, plenty of parking, constant stream of dogs
This is one off the nicest and spacious well kept dog parks we have ever gone. There is a spacious portioned part for smaller doggos as well. Kinda hope no one else finds out want to keep to myself. But had to share for the little doggos to enjoy. There are park benches for the dog owners. ENJOY!
