Picnic tables and plenty of shady spots make it a comfortable place to sit, relax, and enjoy the scenery with your dog.
Mott Park is highly reviewed for being dog-friendly, with amenities that welcome pets alongside their owners. While the park does not have a designated fenced dog area, leashed dogs are encouraged throughout the park’s lush trails and grassy zones. The park is great for families, offering playgrounds, slides, swings, and brings an inviting community vibe with events like Mott Fest. Whether you’re seeking a peaceful dog walk, a play area for kids, or a scenic picnic location, Mott Park delivers a great spot for Flint locals and visitors alike.
I was a frequent visiter to this park between 1964-1967 as a young lad who lived on Golfside lane in the Mott Park area. I’m glad it still exists and is still used by kids.
There’s a lot for the lods to do, it’s just not very busy. Probably just because kids have technology more than outside activists, by choice. Still very nice, but the big game board that they have for you to play doesn’t have the rules anymore
Very nice park, there’s a Bat mitten and bat’s provided by the community to play. A few dodgeballs and kick balls to play with as well. Park is clean, fully functional and fun. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood. Dog friendly as well. Art filled little tunnel to walk thru. Would totally recommend going to this park if you do not like being around a huge crowd.
Mott fest was a blast, we went in 2023 and it has grown so much! So impressed! The music was phenomenal especially singer Millie Grasso, the vendors and food trucks were amazing, not to mention all the activities for kids! Thank you for a wonderful time
